As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for residents and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact regularly with residents, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address their concerns and contribute to a positive community atmosphere. This post may involve driving as part of your patrol duties.

Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

Day Time Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the residential community.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, reporting any suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and any maintenance or security-related concerns according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with residential management and/or law enforcement as needed to address concerns or incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post and a valid driver's license will be required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
