Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Industrial Patrols in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response procedures and provide support during drills or actual emergencies as directed by Allied Universal and/or client protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
