As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a positive atmosphere, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will support the community. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity encountered during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or students while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
