As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment at a bustling retail or mall location. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting routine patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and acting as a reassuring presence for visitors and staff. You will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service, respond promptly to inquiries, and communicate clearly with both the public and your team. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required as you may need to operate company vehicles while patrolling the premises. DayTime Sat 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sun 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or requests for assistance.
• Support access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific protocols.
• Assist with crowd management and/or customer inquiries to promote a welcoming and orderly environment within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required and must meet with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
