As a Security Professional Retail Patrol Full-Time in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. DayTime Mon 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and/or local authorities as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support the overall security-related operations of the location by being visible and approachable to clients, tenants, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
