As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at a bustling retail or mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. You will be the first point of contact for many, offering assistance and clear communication while addressing any security-related concerns that may arise. This position also requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license in the job state is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
