As a Security Officer Unarmed Residential Patrol in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for tenants and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a secure environment.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow all instructions and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the client for the specific location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a valid guard card or security-related license, if required by state, county, or city regulations.
• Possess customer service experience.
• Have experience with access control and/or badge systems.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
