As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors and team members. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, managing visitor logs, responding to security-related incidents, and providing excellent customer service. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to individuals entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Monitor and control access at the front desk, verifying identification and credentials of visitors, employees, and/or contractors as required by site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports for all security-related activities and observations at the front desk.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or vendors to provide information or directions as needed, while helping to deter unauthorized access or inappropriate behavior at the location.
• Operate security-related technology and equipment at the front desk, such as surveillance camera systems, access control devices, and visitor management software, in accordance with site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
