In this unarmed patrol position, your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence to all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and offer outstanding customer service and communication, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as needed to address incidents and support the security-related needs of the location.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
