Job Description

As a Security Professional- Armed Government Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining access control, and delivering exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. This is an armed position, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and care, contributing to a secure environment for all individuals on site.

Pay Rate: $25.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site protocols.
• Report and document any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies at the location.
• Remain alert and observant to help to deter potential threats or suspicious activity within the government environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of security-related experience or a combination of at least 3 years of law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Possess a Level III armed certification if required by state law, such as in Texas.
• Possess access control and/or badge experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
