As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Phillipsburg, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting personnel and visitors at access points.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Maintain accurate records of access control activities, incident reports, and other security-related documentation as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to communicate security-related concerns and observations.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns in accordance with site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
