As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the facility, supporting a caring culture that puts people first. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches of site policies.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining clear communication with staff and Allied Universal management.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Support a welcoming and professional environment for all individuals at the location, providing assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid guard card or security license is preferred, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
