What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate potential security-related concerns and/or incidents.
• Prepare detailed and timely incident reports, documenting observations and actions taken during patrols and response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
