As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Driver in Anchorage, AK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. You will interact with the public, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the area using a company vehicle. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or unauthorized access within the government facility.
• Follow all instructions and protocols provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist visitors and employees with security-related questions and directions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
