Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Patrol Full-Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your role will involve monitoring access, responding to security-related incidents, and assisting with inquiries to help create a welcoming and secure environment. By remaining visible and attentive, you will help to deter unwanted activity while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all activities and incidents occurring at the front desk.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, communicating with appropriate personnel and first responders.
• Answer inquiries and provide information to tenants, guests, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
