As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with students, staff, and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and established protocols to address issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.
• Document incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines, ensuring accurate reporting of all security-related activities.
• Communicate professionally with all individuals encountered on site, providing information and assistance as required.
• Follow all instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management, adapting to changing conditions and requirements at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
