As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be the first point of contact for many individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Pay Rate: $17.47/Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 05:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Tue 05:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Wed 05:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Thur 05:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Fri 05:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, adhering to established protocols.
• Document and report any observed irregularities, suspicious behavior, or security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and site management to provide assistance and maintain a secure environment.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
