Contractor Special Security Officer

Performs a wide range of functions to ensure the protection of company and government-sensitive and classified information. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working with DOD or Intelligence programs
• Experience with managing security for SCI programs as an SSO or CSSO
• Knowledge of 32 CFR, ICD, and DoD security requirements
• Knowledge of industry and government requirements, standards, policies, and directives supporting security programs under the DoD Manual 5105.21 Volumes 1-3
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience performing all aspects of special program security, including Technical, Physical, Information, Personnel, Operational, and Industrial
• Experience with DISS or NISS
• Ability to conduct indoctrination, briefings, and debriefings. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implement security procedures in compliance with Intelligence Community directives and government policies

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
