What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing communication and coordination skills.
• Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, radio traffic, and electronic messages, to support operations at the location.
• Dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed to various areas within the location based on incidents, alarms, or requests for assistance.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities in accordance with site protocols.
• Coordinate with on-site personnel and/or external emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Conduct regular status checks with field personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and support ongoing operations.
• Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points remotely and/or coordinating responses to access requests.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with reporting and communication related to security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
