As a Security Officer - CRE Front Desk in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, tenants, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access to the building, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents through your visibility and attentiveness. You will utilize your communication skills to address inquiries, assist with directions, and respond to any security-related concerns in a professional manner. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, including alerting appropriate personnel and coordinating with first responders when necessary.
• Support efforts to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the location through attentive presence and observation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
