As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting individuals, verifying credentials, managing access control, and assisting with visitor inquiries to help create a welcoming and secure environment. You will also utilize computer or tablet systems to support daily security-related operations and maintain detailed records. By maintaining a professional presence and providing outstanding customer service, you will help to deter potential security-related incidents and contribute to a positive experience for all who enter the facility. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, employees, and clients in a professional manner at the front desk, providing excellent customer service while following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and logging entry and exit information as required by site protocols.
• Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Communicate and collaborate with building personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns or incidents.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the environment at the front desk area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
