What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards while providing excellent customer service.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols and/or while stationed at designated posts.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as required.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift.
• Maintain a professional presence while interacting with employees, visitors, and members of the public at the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
