As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with the public to provide outstanding customer service and communication. This armed post requires a valid armed guard card or license. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Day Time Mon 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

Tue 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

Wed 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

Thur 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

Fri 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or violations of site policies.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while upholding site-specific protocols.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for armed patrol officers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
