As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any irregularities, incidents or suspicious activities observed during shifts.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related needs and concerns specific to the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and/or drills as directed by site management or Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
