As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Tue 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Wed 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Thur 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Sun 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or client contacts.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with directions, information, and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
• Support access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related needs and concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
