Job Description

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Logistics Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment within a logistics and distribution location. Your primary responsibilities include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting with access control. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address questions or concerns. Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter within logistics and distribution locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support operational procedures.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
• Assist with access control for personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities and participate in drills as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
