Job Description

As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrol Specialist in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting with loss prevention efforts. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative setting where reliability and teamwork are valued. You will also utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site protocols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Maintain awareness of the unique needs and environment of a technology-focused location, adapting security-related procedures as necessary.
• Support access control processes and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
