As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing prompt assistance to those in need. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information as needed.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits within the location.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
