Second Shift Caregivers Needed for Afternoons & Evenings

Caregiver Position

Reliable caregiver needed for afternoons/early evening shifts in the Fenton area. Can work as little or as many hours as desired. Wonderful client and a great work-environment!! Our caregivers enjoy benefits including:

Responsibilities for this client include:

• Assisting client with cooking meals as a fun activity
• Helping remind client to take prescribed medication
• Assisting client in pet care
• Accompanying client on shopping trips, appointments, and even fun activities
• Performing housekeeping duties and reporting any unusual incidents
• Acting quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offering activities that engage client cognitively and emotionally to enrich quality of life

Qualifications:

• Two years experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment
• Experience with dementia or other memory care related conditions
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work regular schedule, including one or two weekends a month
• Willingness to enforce to health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate

Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
