Sanitation & Waste Technician

Staffmark is seeking a reliable Sanitation & Waste Technician to join our hospital client's team in Dothan, AL. You'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant facility by properly collecting, sorting, and disposing of waste materials-including specialized and sensitive items-while strictly following safety and cleanliness standards. This is an excellent entry-level, temp-to-hire opportunity with a respected healthcare facility.

Shift: Monday - Sunday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, rotating schedule with different days off

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Safely collect, transport, and dispose of waste from designated areas
• Maintain cleanliness of waste storage and disposal areas
• Handle and package materials in accordance with safety procedures
• Support general facility cleanliness and sanitation needs
• Follow all company safety and hygiene protocols

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
