Our walk-in centers are open seven days a week, providing flexibility and convenience to our patients.

Role Overview:
The Medical Assistant/X-Ray Tech plays a crucial role in providing exceptional clinical care to patients. You will conduct x-ray testing and utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure the best patient outcomes. This position is for a PRN (as-needed) schedule, meaning your shifts will vary based on the center's needs, offering you a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
The following duties reflect the primary expectations of this role, though they are not exhaustive:

• Welcome and greet patients as they arrive in the waiting area or exam rooms.
• Communicate wait times effectively and guide patients through the treatment process.
• Address patient concerns promptly and seek assistance in emergencies.
• Make timely follow-up calls to patients.
• Assist front desk staff with check-in and check-out procedures as needed.
• Measure and document patient vital signs, weight, and relevant medical histories.
• Help with patient transfers and assist in procedures supervised by the healthcare provider.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to each patient visit.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• A minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification and ARRT certification are advantageous.
