Salesforce Developer

The Salesforce Developer provides expert advice and leads in system / application administration, installation, configuration/provisioning, platform planning and design, integration and release / deployment management. Duties include the below:
- Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware
- Customize workflows, objects, and user interfaces to meet business needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs
- Ensure data integrity and security across Salesforce environments
- Primary subject matter expert in multiple areas and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of operational support / solutions
- Works independently and/or autonomously as a senior/ lead on a diverse range of tasks / operational support of solutions and is relied upon to coach/ educate others
Assignments are highly complex and multifaceted
- May monitor, coach/educate a small team of IT professionals
- Acts as a key resource in the exchange of technical information for project teams, the business and/or outside vendors

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years relevant experience working as a developer in Salesforce.com
- Relevant experience with HTML, JavaScript, XML, APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Experience configuring Salesforce using workflows, validation rules, Lightning Flow, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards at a large organization
- Database experience writing queries in SQL/SOQL, working with Data Loader, Workbench and ETL tools to perform bulk data updates
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
- Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
- Experience with standard/custom object creation, validation rules, etc.
- Experience in back-end development of Salesforce including but not limited to design of data models, a strong knowledge of SOQL, and usage of web technologies.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Salesforce PD2 (Platform Developer 2) certification
- Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1
- Experience with Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, and/or Community Cloud
