An RN in the Operating Room is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients by assessing their needs, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes. The role involves delegating tasks to nursing personnel while adhering to regulatory standards and the goals of the healthcare facility. Candidates must hold a relevant nursing degree, possess a valid nursing license, and have two years of operating room experience.
Job Description:Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Education Qualifications:BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
Department 13410 (Surgery Acute):
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) not required
Must Meet the Following Qualifications:
Two years experience as an RN in an operating room
