This position plays a key part in ensuring patient and staff safety through the development and enforcement of infection control protocols. This is an exciting opportunity to lead regulatory compliance efforts while working collaboratively with internal departments and external agencies.

- Develop, implement, and evaluate infection control programs, including HAI and TB prevention plans.
- Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies through ongoing policy development and training.
- Educate staff on infection control practices and provide orientation on current trends and procedures.
- Analyze data for performance improvement, provide reports to leadership, and submit documentation to NHSN and CMS.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current and active RN license in the State of Arizona
- Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC), or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience, ideally in infection control or quality/safety
