Position Description
CGI Federal is currently seeking skilled RPA Developers for future projects with prior experience supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA).
***This role will be onsite in Woodlawn, MD (no remote). Candidates should reside within 2 hours of Woodlawn, MD***
Your future duties and responsibilities
Activities shall include, but are not limited to:
- Create a plan for deployment and implementation in line with the release schedule,
- Schedule the delivery of the project's deliverables and the release life cycle,
- Ensure that the release is planned and arranged in accordance with the constraints and spending plan,
- Schedule milestone reviews after each release and release readiness checks before to deployment,
- Communicate project-related details with other teams, such as schedules, needs, and deadlines,
- Coordinate the release schedule and the necessary resources based on the third-party apps, defect backlogs, scheduled releases, and infrastructure upgrades,
- Identify the risks that might push back the release and take action to address them so that neither the release's quality nor its intended scope suffers,
- Plan and deliver weekly activity updates for the rollout,
- Manage the Go-Live activities to deploy the software properly,
- Monitor the release phases and deadlines to spot any issues, always work to improve the release process,
- Building a deployment pipeline and associated processes,
- Defining quality gates and thresholds,
- Monitoring stakeholder feedback,
- Collaborating cross-functionally across different business and technical teams, and
- Improve methods for configuration management and offer software that facilitates the identification of new configuration management applications.
The Release Manager shall possess a BS/BA or equivalent with a minimum of ten years of information technology experience. They shall define and oversee the release process to facilitate a well-planned and well-delivered release that deploys solutions that work as intended and is delivered on-time. The individual in this position shall be responsible for scope planning, requirements gathering, release scheduling, scope management, development, testing, deployment planning, deployment, and post-deployment actions. The individual shall coordinate across multiple stakeholders to manage competing priorities, coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups, and resolve problems or barriers quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace. They shall have a minimum of 3 years of experience with supporting an Inspector General or law enforcement agency.
Preferred Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
