Product Development Specialist - Food Innovation & Regulatory
Long Island, NY Area | Full-Time | $100K-$115K
Join a fast-growing food manufacturing team as a Product Development & Regulatory Specialist ! You’ll drive new product development, reformulation, and labeling compliance , working cross-functionally with R&D, QA, Operations, and Supply Chain. Ensure all products meet FDA/USDA regulations while bringing innovative ideas to life.

Product Development Specialist - Food Innovation & Regulatory

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain product formulas and specifications
- Review labels, nutrition facts, and allergen info for compliance
- Conduct nutritional analysis and support new product launches
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on ingredient compliance
- Stay updated on regulatory trends and provide guidance to staff
- Bachelor’s in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field
- 2+ years in food product development, regulatory, or labeling
- Strong FDA/USDA labeling knowledge and nutritional analysis skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused
