Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our talented outpatient imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with a focus on precision, accuracy, and ensuring patient comfort. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, your contributions will help produce high-quality images crucial for patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
• Accurately prepare and position patients for optimal imaging results
• Ensure safety and comfort for patients throughout the imaging process
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment to ensure proper functionality and calibration
• Review images for quality assurance and follow protocols for effective image storage
• Adhere to established radiation safety standards and infection control practices
• Accurately document patient information and complete required reports
• Collaborate with other radiology and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care
• Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and imaging techniques

Qualifications:

• Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography required
• Licensure: Current state licensure as mandated by law
• Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related accredited program
• Experience: At least 1-2 years as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in outpatient or clinical settings

Skills and Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of radiologic procedures, anatomy, and patient positioning
• Proficiency with imaging software and radiologic equipment
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong commitment to patient confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in outpatient or ambulatory care settings
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Knowledge of additional imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI) is an advantage
