Quote Estimator

Our client, a leader in the technology industrial sector, is seeking a Quote Estimator to join their team. As a Quote Estimator, you will be part of the engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quote Estimator

Location: Suwanee, GA

Pay Range: $60K

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

• Respond to Request for Quote (RFQ) packages as needed.
• Analyze all customer-provided materials including BOM, assembly drawings, and schematics.
• Organize material information supplied by customers into a format required for quoting and manufacturing.
• Prepare PCB array layouts for quoting and manufacturing.
• Validate proposed labor quotes with internal departments for accuracy.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of an AA (technical) degree plus 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Thorough working knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word, with the ability to manipulate data using a quoting system.
• Ability to work with various engineering documents, charts, and schematics.
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders involved in the quoting process.
