Quality Packaging Production Worker

This role supports pharmaceutical packaging operations by ensuring product quality, accuracy, and compliance with manufacturing standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Weighing finished products to detect missing components
• Clearing line culls and documenting discarded materials
• Preparing, inspecting, and packaging finished goods into shippers
• Filling cartons, carriers, or shippers with product, labels, literature, or applicators
• Cleaning machines during or after operation
• Following SOPs, GDP, safety policies, and cGMP standards
• Verifying lot codes and expiration dates on packaging components and finished goods

Must-have skills:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or GMP-regulated production
• Experience with machine operation in a production environment
• Familiarity with packaging processes and quality assurance procedures
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Ability to follow written instructions and maintain documentation accurately

Preferred skills:

• Bottling, batching, blending, compounding
• General labor and production line experience
• Inspection and mixing

Shift schedule:

Training (Required):

• 1st Shift: 6:45 a.m. 3:30 p.m. (4 weeks)

Post-Training Options (Based on Availability):

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. 11:45 p.m.
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 p.m. 7:15 a.m.

Breaks:

• 45-minute lunch
• Two 15-minute breaks

Pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hicksville, NY.
