Job Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
New York State license (LMSW/LCSW, LPC, LMHC, or Psychologist)
DOC and PREA clearance required
Experience with adults with behavioral problems, substance use, or severe mental illness preferred
Inpatient or related experience preferred

Job Duties

Conduct mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, and follow-up care
Coordinate appropriate level of care and discharge planning with Reentry Social Workers
Develop and lead group treatment on observation and general units
Participate in clinical supervision, treatment planning, rounds, and case conferences
Collaborate with DOC to ensure access, housing, and treatment disposition
Complete documentation and statistical reports as required
May conduct psychological testing and supervise interns/student volunteers

Patient population: Incarcerated adult men
Schedule: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday – Friday
