Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will act as the Quality Management System Representative for the organization, responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating quality control procedures. This role involves monitoring the overall quality of processes and deliverables to ensure continuous improvement in line with established standards. The quality assurance program aims to provide customer confidence, reduce costs through prevention-based systems, and facilitate business productivity enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures.
• Coordinate quality control activities across the organization.
• Monitor processes and deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR).

Essential Skills

• Proven management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to direct cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of statistical principles and GD&T.
• Experience with ISO quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in managing quality technicians.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience with ISO quality systems in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 1 year plus managing quality technicians.
• ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Ability to program and use various metrology devices.
• Experience with MRP System.
• Experience in leading process improvement teams.
• US work authorization is a precondition of employment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing environment and involves physical demands such as sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The role requires frequent computer use, including typing and monitoring. You will be part of a team delivering custom solutions across industries such as Medical Ultrasound, Semiconductor, and Industrial Sensors, defining the future of piezoelectric technology.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of State College, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63000.00 - $93000.00/yr.
