Location: Philadelphia, PA / Camden, NJ (Onsite)
Duration: 6-7 Months (Possible extension or Conversion)
Pay Rate: $ /hr W2
Shift hour: 1st Shift (5:30/8 - 4:30 PM on Friday) Onsite
( Philadelphia, PA to Camden, NJ (end of Nov - end of Dec)
Job Description:
Responsible for the design, development and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of company products in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Performs analysis on reported nonconformities and discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical systems, field and clinical data. Further investigates the cause for discrepancies and nonconformities to develop disposition and recommend corrective action plans. Leads material review board and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Conducts program quality cost account management and manages supplier corrective actions. Serves as the primary interface to customers and supplier for quality related matters.
Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.
Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight.
Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes.
Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.
Helping with Impending move from Phili to Camden, working on open corrective actions, MRB (material review board), commissioning NC's (Nonconforming)
4-5 years prior QE experience (Able to hit the ground running)
Knowledge of root cause and corrective actions
Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities
Technical in MS Office suite
Detailed/Highly organized
BS/4 year degree in Technical field (mechanical/electrical engineering)
