This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will develop and execute commercial quality processes for the design, test and manufacture of launch vehicles, spacecraft, and related technologies. You will be responsible to drive quality products throughout the organization by maintaining a corporate culture that emphasizes accountability and attention to detail at all levels.

Special Mentions:
- Shifts available: Monday - Friday
- Facilitate and lead improvement initiatives and other changes that will improve Blue's product and system safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency
- Facilitate and lead investigations and Root Cause Analysis efforts to identify and resolve direct and systemic causes of issues at Blue
- Analyze organizational performance data and develop quantified improvement proposals consistent with Blue's safety, quality, and performance goals
- Establish, implement, and monitor quality system processes
- Provide quality assurance domain expertise to inspection, manufacturing and test
- Monitor ongoing initiatives and provide coaching as needed
- Collaborate with internal and external customers on quality related concerns; develop and present training materials to build quality awareness
- Minimum of a B.S. in engineering/science or American Society of Quality, Certified Quality Engineer certification
- 6+ years' industry experience in an engineering field with at least 2 years in a quality role
- 5+ years of experience leading Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, Process Improvements, and/or Kaizens
- Quality experience in production environment. Aerospace, space launch, or military or commercial aviation preferred
- Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programs
- Knowledge of quality management systems and statistical process control (SPC).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create and deliver presentations for all levels of an organization
- Superior facilitation skills with the ability to ensure productive meetings and outcomes at all levels of an organization
- Quality assurance experience in rocket engine production environment
- Six Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certification
- Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, DOMO)
- QMS audit experience and quality performance measurement analysis capabilities

- Required for all positions: Blue's Standard Background Check
- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation
- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
- Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
