Quality Control Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to oversee quality assurance operations at a high-volume food and beverage processing facility. This role is critical to ensuring that all products meet rigorous safety, regulatory, and quality standards from raw material intake through final packaging.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily quality control activities across production lines, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations (FDA, USDA, HACCP, etc.)
• Lead and mentor a team of quality technicians, providing training, performance feedback, and scheduling support
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement
• Conduct routine inspections, audits, and sampling of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Collaborate with production, sanitation, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality records, test results, and compliance reports

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance or quality control within a food manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing or supervising teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bakersfield, CA.
