Quality Assurance Inspector

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector with strong knowledge in electrical inspections. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical systems, with a focus on adherence to various electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough electrical inspections, preferably with experience in building department inspections.
• Utilize experience with electrical codes, such as NEC, Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, and Lightning Protection Code, to ensure compliance.
• Review and interpret plans and specifications during walkthroughs and examinations.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting inspections and construction activities.
• Apply ANSI/NETA standards for testing electrical power systems to ensure safety and reliability.

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and codes.
• Experience in quality assurance or quality control inspections.
• Proficiency in reading and applying electrical design and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journey/Master Electrician with 7 years of experience and an additional 3 years in QA electrical experience.
• Degree in electrical engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Electrical/Mechanical Degree.

Work Environment

The project environment involves a combination of day and overnight shifts, with shifts changing quarterly. The position offers a dynamic work setting within a large design-build firm, providing numerous opportunities for growth. Benefits include flexible PTO and stock options.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $125000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
