Quality Assurance Engineer III

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead the testing of large-scale web applications
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and drive continuous improvements to the quality assurance processes
• Develop and maintain automated tests for web user interfaces
• Implement test scripts using languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Design and execute both manual and automated test cases
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Work closely with front-end and back-end developers, UX designers, and product owners
• Consult with project management and development teams on technical issues
• Use functional specifications and user stories to plan, create, and sign off on test plans
• Implement best practices for test data management and test environment setup
• Provide regular, detailed status reports on project progress
• Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts
• Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in web testing and automation

Position Requirements:

• Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or related occupation
• Employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Masters degree and one year of experience
• Must have one year of experience in the following skills: 1) using QA methodology and tools; 2) manual testing; 3) automation testing; and 4) delivering test frameworks, test tools, leading QA projects and initiatives
