Prototype Technician

We are looking for a dedicated Prototype Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and industrial sewing experience to join our team. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating equipment for production and prototype builds, as well as supporting rapid prototyping activities by adjusting processes and tooling to accommodate new designs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate equipment, tools, and machine tools for production and prototype builds.
• Support rapid prototyping activities by adjusting processes and tooling to new designs.
• Perform simple and complex maintenance on production and support equipment.
• Collect, review, and analyze production and prototype data, and mentor team members on processes and equipment as needed.

Essential Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Two years or more of industrial sewing experience
• Strong sewing experience
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial setting
• Energetic and self-motivated

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
