About the role: As a CBRE Property Management Manager, you will supervise the team and all operational and financial activities of a single property or a small portfolio of properties.

This role is part of the Property Management function and is responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

What You’ll Do

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Respond to escalated tenant needs and issues.
• Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure objectives are met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and complete reports.
• Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
• Help create programs to assist the property with emergency recoveries.
• Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
• Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment is on time.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
• Apply knowledge of the discipline and its integration with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to convey performance expectations and handle problems when exchanging sensitive information.
• Leadership skills to motivate the team and impact the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills with a curious mindset.
