Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler in the commercial construction sector to oversee project timelines and ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be adept at utilizing scheduling software to facilitate efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project timelines and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions.
Prepare Gantt charts and critical path analysis to illustrate project timelines.
Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal use of personnel and materials.
Communicate regularly with team members to update on progress and address any scheduling concerns.
Ensure all construction documentation is accurate and up-to-date throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate project coordination meetings to discuss scheduling issues and project updates.
Implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a project scheduler in the commercial construction industry.
Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Strong understanding of budgeting and resource allocation principles.
Experience with risk management and stakeholder management.
Exceptional time management and communication skills.
Ability to create and interpret Gantt charts and critical path analysis.
Familiarity with construction documentation and quality control processes.
