Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Project Manager with 23 years of experience in commercial and multifamily construction. This role will begin as part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on performance and project demand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading projects from initial assessment through completion, with a strong emphasis on project bidding, contract proposals, and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project process from initial job assessment through final delivery.
• Conduct thorough site evaluations and scope assessments for rebuild and remediation projects.
• Prepare and manage project bids, contract proposals, and budget estimates.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Oversee staffing, subcontractor coordination, and material procurement.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.

Essential Skills

• 23 years of experience in project management within commercial and/or multifamily construction.
• Familiarity with project bidding and proposal development.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $41.00/hr.
